I went record hunting this weekend and it was fairly successful. I got 9 albums with one BINGO! A “Bingo” is when I find one I was looking for specifically and I say “BINGO!” Seriously, I always do. The Bingo was J. Geils Band – “Nightmares…and Other Tales from the Vinyl” 1974. There are two songs I know and like but I am not sure about the rest. But it does fill out my collection through 1977, first 9 albums. I am having a heck of a time finding early Bob Seger titles (up through Beautiful Loser). I have 3 of those 8, “Mongrel”, “Smokin’ Ops” and “Seven”.
The other albums I picked this past weekend include:
- Pink Floyd -”Meddle” 1971 (another BINGO, but its pretty scratchy so I still might pick a better copy up later if its not too expensive.);
- Deep Purple – “Fireball” 1971;
- Rainbow – “Rising” 1976;
- Styx – “Cornerstone” 1979;
- The Moody Blues – “Long Distance Voyager” 1981;
- Rush – “Signals” 1982;
- Rush – Power Windows (Korean Release) 1985;
